Notes

The single highest-pain consumable in the welding PAPR world. OEM price (~£230 UK) drives welders toward rebuild services (e.g. MTO, frequently backordered), rebuilt/OSI-type replacements, and 3D-printed power-tool battery adapters. Rebuilds and adapters are NOT approved: 3M's user instructions state "Do not repair or modify any component of this system. Do not use with parts or accessories other than those manufactured by 3M as described in these User Instructions or on the NIOSH approval label," and power-tool packs lack this pack's protection circuitry.
